Blackjack Online Game Rules

Blackjack online game rules are exactly the same as when you play the game of blackjack live. The game is played 1 on 1 against a dealer with the objective of obtaining a hand which is of a higher value than the dealer’s hand without breaking 21.

When you play blackjack, your hand value is determined by adding together all of the cards in your hand. Numbered cards are worth their face value; Kings, Queens and Jacks are worth 10 points each; and Aces are worth either 1 point or 11 points depending on the other cards in your hand.

Whether you are playing a blackjack game online or live the game begins with players placing bets. When you play a blackjack game online you can choose from a variety of betting limits. Once bets have been placed the dealer will give you 2 cards, face up on the table. The dealer will take 2 cards as well but only one will be exposed. Based on these cards you may decide to “stay” or to “hit” and ask the dealer to give you more cards to increase the value of your hand. At the end of the game the dealer will expose his hand. If your hand beats the dealer you will be paid. If the dealer wins then you will lose your bet.

You can play a blackjack game online for free or for real money. When you play free blackjack you can learn, practice and improve your skills.
