Blackjack Rules

If you have always wanted to learn how to play blackjack there’s no time like the present to learn. The combination of live casino blackjack and Internet blackjack has made the game more popular than ever! The good news is that blackjack rules are incredibly easy to learn.

If you want to learn blackjack rules then you need to understand the objective of the game. Blackjack is played against a dealer. According to blackjack instructions, in order to win you must obtain a hand that is of a higher value than the dealer’s hand and doesn’t break 21. If you break 21 you bust and lose the game. Blackjack rules state that hand values are determined by adding your cards together—cards numbered 2 through 11 are worth their numerical value; Jacks, Queens and Kings are each worth 10 points; Aces are worth 11 points or 1 point—you get to choose.

Blackjack rules state that bets are placed at the beginning of the game before any cards are dealt. Then the dealer gives two cards to each player, face up on the table and takes two cards for himself— one face up and one face down. Blackjack instructions then state that you may choose to stand with your present hand or may ask the dealer to “hit” you with additional cards until you are satisfied with your hand’s value. Just be careful not to break 21!

At the end of the game the dealer reveals his hand and winners are determined. If you win you are paid, if you lose your bet goes to the house.

Now that you know how to play blackjack you are ready to get started. Head to the nearest live casino or sign up for blackjack online and find out why blackjack is one of the most popular card games in the world!
