Card Counting Not Effective for Online Blackjack

If you ever saw the movie Rainman you may remember the scene in the casino where Tom Cruise brings his brother in to count cards. Many people who are very good with math, counting and remembering try to count cards in the casino because real casinos use a real number of decks to play blackjack. But when it comes to the Internet, it should be noted that online blackjack is different.

The blackjack software used at online casinos is based on a system called RNG –random number generation. It’s a series of algorithms that calculate the relative odds of a certain card turning up. This is not the same as a card that turns up in a deck and then won’t come back in the cycle for a while. For this reason online blackjack is impossible to cheat.

The main difference in online blackjack is that the software has been designed to replicate similar odds, but not the same chances of repeat cards coming up or being taken out of a given number of decks. Blackjack software is very sophisticated and impossible to cheat. Our advice is just play for the enjoyment and thrill of it. Cheeaters usually don’t win at online blackjack.
