Here’s how to play blackjack

Learning how to play blackjack is not complicated. There’s only a few simple things you need to understand and then you’re on you’re way to playing a great game. The first thing you need to understand is that you can play blackjack with many people, but you are actually playing against the blackjack dealer.

In the beginning of the game, the blackjack dealer deals himself a card and then deals the rest of the player’s two blackjack cards. To understand how to play blackjack you have to be aware that the player’s goal is to reach 21.

One other thing to keep in mind when learning to play blackjack is that the blackjack dealer has to stop dealing himself cards after he has a total of 17 or more and he has to keep dealing himself cards if he has a total less than 16.

You can’t learn how to play blackjack until you know how to calculate the blackjack cards. All face cards are worth 10 besides an ace which is worth 11 or one. All numbered cards are worth their number. For instance a 5 is worth 5. You want to keep asking dealer to “hit” you or give you another card until you think that you will be in a position to beat the blackjack dealer’s total with out getting over 21.
