How to play blackjack 21

Blackjack 21 has long been a favorite game at the casinos as well as in private circles. It’s a skill based card game that can be put in the same category as poker because the blackjack player must make important strategic decisions through the game in order to win. In other words the game requires thought, skill and a winning playing strategy in order to be successful.

Variants of the game blackjack 21 include splitting, where the player is dealt two cards the same, and he can simultaneously play two hands against the dealer’s one. Of course, the Blackjack player must put an additional bet on the other hand, which doubles the risk, but also doubles the opportunity of winning against the “house”. Another variation to the standard game of blackjack 21 involves what is called “doubling down”, where the player can double his initial bet if he feels confident that he will win the round.

He makes this choice when he sees his second card, and then posts an additional bet. At that point, he is only allowed to draw one more card. A final variant of blackjack 21 is the ability to post insurance against the blackjack dealer when the dealer’s second card (facing up) is seen to be an Ace. The player can “buy insurance” against the dealer scoring exactly 21 points, or “Blackjack”, which essentially protects against the risk of the dealer scoring the perfect score.
