The Concept of ‘Blackjack’ in an Online Blackjack Card Game

We are constantly reading about the popularity of blackjack, but do we truly understand the concept of the ‘blackjack’ in an online blackjack card game? In a nutshell, a blackjack is when a player (or the dealer) has two cards that total exactly 21 from the initial cards that were dealt to him or her. Obviously, this is the ultimate hand that a player can hope to get when playing an online blackjack card game.

On the other hand, it is not good news for the player if the blackjack dealer comes out with a 21 during the online blackjack card game, as the player automatically goes ‘bust’ and loses the game. In most variants of an online blackjack card game, the dealer will have to check his hole card for a blackjack if his exposed card has a value of ten (the number ten, or face cards such as a Queen, King or Jack), or an Ace.

It is safe to say that most online black card game variants will offer a blackjack pay out of 3:2; however it is imperative for players to read the terms and pay out conditions of all new blackjack games that they play before they actually wager for real money.
