An Overview of the Official Perudo Rules

A basic understanding of the official Perudo rules is a very important element of the success of your game. At the start of the game, each player rolls the dice in a cup and then puts it flat down to hide it from other players. Players then make consecutively higher bids or challenge the previous Perudo bid, in a clockwise motion.

Perudo rules state that a bid can consist of a number and the value of the die. A higher bid is thus simply a higher number (eg. five ones). When a Perudo bid is challenged, all players reveal their dice on the table. If a bid is challenged successfully, the challenged player loses a die. The challenging player then restarts the game.

However, Perudo rules state that if the challenge fails, the challenging player needs to lose a die, with the challenged players bidding first. Perudo rules may seem complex initially but after a few rounds of the game, players will see how simple and fun Perudo can be.
