But have you ever stopped to wonder about the history of Perudo and how it has evolved over the centuries? In fact, the history of Perudo is quite fascinating. The game in all probability was first played by the ancient Incas in regions of South America hundreds of years ago. Today it is still one of the most popular pastimes on that continent.

Those who have studied the history of Perudo show that in the 16th Century, the region known as Lima today was conquered by a Spaniard by the name of Francisco Pizarro. So enamored was Pizarro with this exciting game, that he spread its popularity within his homeland when he got back to Europe. The game was quickly adopted by local Spaniards, although it remained much more popular in countries such as Chile, Bolivia and Peru where it had originated from.

The history of Perudo does not stop there. With the introduction of the online gambling industry, millions of players from all over the world are suddenly able to play the game, whether they have only just discovered Perudo or whether they are already seasoned Perudo players.
