Omaha poker rules for all players

Omaha poker rules state that each player receives 4 hole cards and there are 5 community cards. This is different from Texas Hold'em where each player only gets 2 hole cards. What makes Omaha poker rules exciting is that you have to use exactly 2 cards from your hand and 3 from the board that make up your 5-card poker hand. Generally winning hands in Omaha poker games are much better than the hands found in Texas Hold'em.

Remember that when you are playing with Omaha poker rules there are 9 cards to play with which makes winning much easier.

The terms are still the same as Texas Hold'em: Hole Cards – Each player is dealt 4 hole cards faced down. The Flop - Three cards are dealt to the table (community cards) The Turn – The fourth community card is dealt to the table. The River – The last, 5th community card is dealt to the table

When you are playing a betting game then there will be a round of betting after a round of cards is dealt. Just as in Texas Hold'em, Omaha poker rules allow for four betting rounds in total for each game.

The best way to discover if Omaha or Texas Hold'em is your game is by trying them both out!
