Texas Holdem Online Poker Rules

Texas Holdem is the most popular poker game, online and off. If you aren’t familiar with how to play the game you have no need to worry—it’s very easy to learn Texas Holdem online poker rules. If you already know how to play Texas Holdem then you will have no problem playing online as Texas Holdem online poker rules are exactly the same rules that are used in the regular game, offline.

According to the online poker rules of Texas Holdem each player places a bet before any cards are dealt. This is in order to form the ante, or prize pot. Following this initial bet each player receives two private cards. These cards are personal and cannot be seen by the other players. After these cards are dealt there is another round of betting in which players choose to call, raise or fold based on the quality of these cards.

After this round three cards are placed face up in the center of the table. These cards are community cards and all the players share them. Based on the combination of these cards and the players’ private cards another round of betting ensues in which the remaining players choose to call, raise or fold.

Following are two more rounds. In each round one additional community card is placed on the table and players bet again. In the end, the player with the best five-card hand takes the pot.

As you can see, the online poker rules of Texas Holdem are quite simple. Give the game a try and see how you like it!
